"Facilitating young people to reach out to young people".
It is aimed at those aged 12 -16. Our focus is very much on outreach and we are very blessed to be using a building located close to the center of town.The first 90 minutes is spent out in the community playing games and engaging with the young people from the community and then we return inside to spend some time in God's word .
Where: - At this moment in time we are operating from Pond Lane church. We are soon to be moving location on the 28th of October to the old Green Lane Chapel in the carpark behind Wilkinsons.
When: - Friday nights from 19:30 – 21:30.
Purposes
- To provide a relaxed youth environment in which non-Christian young people between the ages of 12 - 16 are encouraged to come for a time of social interaction.
- To spend time on the streets engaging with the local community.
- To provide an opportunity to share the gospel message and the love of Jesus with the young people of the community. To be achieved possibly through the use of games, films and of course basic bible teaching.
- To build relationships and trust through the sharing of your own experiences with the young people of the community.
- To give young Christians an opportunity to share their faith with others in a safe and controlled environment.
