I was a primary school teacher for 11 years before I began full time ministry over 20 years ago. Ever since then I have seen God provide for me and my family.
For me, the essential things are that we might be a beacon of the gospel in this area to everyone we meet.
I am convinced that to be really evangelical and not compromise on the Bible in the liberty of the Holy Spirit is the only way forward today. My burden to bring all believers to maturity in Christ is reflected in Colossians 1.28-29 – "We proclaim Him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. To this end I labour, struggling with all His energy, which so powerfully works in me."

My wife Jo and I live in Redruth with our four children Zoe, Sophie, Jasmine and Gabriel. We first came to RBC in early 2004 and settled quickly in the church. While I was still serving in the Royal Navy I started working with the young people in September 2005. It was in 2008 when I received my call to work full time in youth work so I left the Navy after 10 years of service and started full time as the Youth and Community Worker at RBC.
My desire is to see young people come to a deeper revelation knowledge of who Jesus is and to intentionally step into the plans and purposes that God has for them.

I trained as a preacher of the Gospel before becoming an elder.
I have a heart for pastoral work of the fellowship..
It is my desire that we all become true disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.
A disciple is: one who is Disciplined In Serving Christ In Practical Living Every day.
I also want to see people walking in the freedom we have in the Lord Jesus Christ.
